Timex T54101 Data Recorder reset instructions

:If you are having problems with your Timex data recorder, it may be worth "resetting" the unit before contacting your supplier. This reset resolves most problems and, once performed, your T54101 Timex data recorder should behave perfectly well.

Although this relates mainly for Data Recorders that flash Red & Green continuously, it seems to work with most problematic units.

start with the data recorder powered off
press and hold the push button for about 5 seconds
when the LED rapidly flashes amber, release the push button and then quickly
press and release the button again while the LED is still flashing.

if you did it correctly, the LED color will change to a solid green color for a
moment and then go dark to indicate that the memory has been cleared. if you
weren't successful, the amber flashing will stop (no green confirmation) and the
LED will go dark ; do not worry - you can try again.

If this did not work, then it may be necessary to contact your supplier. Please only contact us when you have your transaction ID (WorldPay receipt number) handy, we will need it as proof of purchase.
