MAX is a finger touch heart rate monitor. It will provide an ECG accurate
heart rate reading within 5 - 7 seconds of placing your fingers on
the two silver sensors. These units are VERY HIGH build quality.

These
units do not require a chest strap and they do NOT transmit
heart rate data. They provide heart rate on demand as and when you
press the sensors on the front. They are nothing like the cheap £20
units that use OPTICAL sensors to try and view blood pump. These units
measure the electrical stimulation of the heart rate across the chest
(using fingers from one hand and making a circuit through the back
plate of the watch, up and around the chest)
