The Suunto PC POD is connected to a Windows PC running the Suunto Monitor software via USB conenction, shown below on PC screen.

This is the main component of the Team system, the Team POD. The Team POD can simultaneously monitor the heart rate of up to 30 users within 100m of the device.

SWIMMING : We are also pleased to announce the arrival of the Suunto Memory Belt (was SMART BELT - now improved reliability) that can be worn without a watch and downloaded later. The Memory Belt even has a heart rate zone alarm, set via the PC link. The Memory Belt is ideal for heart rate monitoring in the pool, on the pitch, or any environment which prohibits the wearing of a wrist watch.

The Memory BELT is unique in that it both TRANSMITS the data for pick up via PC POD, TEAM POD or user's personal watch, and it stores the data within the chest strap at the same time.

This is how the Suunto Team Pack looks while running. Each user is identified with their own "square" on the PC screen. It shows RED when they are over their heart rate limits, GREEN when they are within limts and BLUE when they are below their heart rate limits. Scroll down for more screen shots

The Team POD will receive data from up to 30 ANT belts or SmartBelts. This data is displayed realtime via the Suunto Monitor software supplied. The data is also stored in the Suunto Team Software for analysis at a later stage.

The Team Software will provide heart rate graphs but NOT Training Effect (EPOC). To obtain Training Effect, the group must wear the SmartBelts (see Pack PRO II) . Training effect can not be obtained from groups with standard ANT transmitters (as supplied in Pack PRO I)

The screen shot above shows 3 users using the system simultaneously. The blocks change colour as the users move between <60% max HR (blue) 61%-80% max HR (green) 81% and above (red). This system can support 30 users. All the data is recorded and can be saved to file for later review. The saved session is appears like the screen shot below. This data was acquired using 1 x PC POD and 3 x standard ANT HR belts.

LOAN of TEAM POD - great for television production, aerobics sessions, conferences etc

Suunto Team POD is an excellent choice for TV producers, aerobics classes, group training etc, anyone looking for discrete group (up to 30) or individual heart rate monitoring. BHIP Ltd are pleased to be able to offer this unit on a loan basis from 1 week up to 3 weeks.

BHIP Ltd will provide remote telephone support to all companies that rent the group heart rate monitoring system. This system has been proven on a new BBC production working with 20 simultaneous users. BHIP Ltd can provide personal 1/2 training on this unit at their premises in Snettisham, Norfolk. During this training we will load the software on your laptop PC and synchronise the chest straps to the Team POD.
