If you want a single
wrist unit, that can be worn throughout the day as a time of day watch
with the addition of "finger touch" heart rate sensing then
the new Sigma Sport PC 3FT heart rate monitor is ideal.
These units show time of day or stopwatch time.
To get an ECG accurate heart rate reading just put two fingers on the
silver contacts and you will have a heart rate record in 3 - 8 seconds.
We have tested these units extensively and their heart rate acquisition
time is very fast
