Reebok 54431 Garmin GPS
Speed and Distance Monitor
site owners comment: We
have used the Reebok Speed and Distance system they are very good.
As regular 5km and 10km runners we like to think we know when we are
running at a decent pace and when we are running well. The Reebok
Speed Distance monitor tells you "exactly" how fast/slow you are running
and what your current "pace" is.
This monitor is great for any outdoor event that it is useful to know
your average, maximum and best speed (as well as pace i.e. 6 min miles
etc). It is waterproof so it can be used for sailing, hiking, cycling,
running, anything that is outdoors and it may be useful to know your
speed and exact distance. The Reebok 54431 unit also has very useful
PACE and DISTANCE alarms to alert you when running too fast, or too
slow.
The Reebok Speed
and Distance unit is great for CYCLISTS as well as runners. Because
it uses GPS, there are no peripherals that need to be attached to
the bike. Can also be used for ANY outdoor pursuit that has clear
view of the sky.
The GPS unit is strapped to your upper arm, or, using the belt clip
provided, clipped to your trousers. When running, you do feel it is
there, but it is not uncomfortable.
Features of the Reebok 54431 Speed
+ Distance Monitor
- 100 lap memory recall, with average pace per lap and split
time. Also provides distance information for each lap.
- Countdown timer, with auto repeat function for intervals
- Chronograph with 100 lap/splits
- PACE alarm, the user can set an upper and lower running pace.
The watch will alarm (audibly) when these thresholds are compromised.
This is what makes the Reebok unit better than the cheaper OS
GP801. PACE and DISTANCE alarms mean you can get on with your
running and not have to keep looking at the watch.
