The Reebok Hybrid has one of these so it is great for continuous heart rate monitoring throughout a session. Managing heart rate levels, monitoring calorie burn etc.

There are others who want to know their heart rate ON DEMAND only, throughout the day for example. To do this you need a finger touch ECG sensor. The Reebok Hybrid has this as well.
