Polar S810i heart rate monitor is a technically outstanding monitor

advanced version of the S610i. The main differences are the ability
to measure and store heart beat to heart beat, not just a sample of
HR every 5 seconds (as the S610i does). Also, there is more flexibility
within the exercise sets with 6 distinct segments and not just 3,
like the S610i. This means you can pre-programme 6 x phases (each
with it's own intervals and recoveries), eg. 1 x 10mins in HR zone
1, 4 x 3 mins in HR zone 2, 2 x 2 mins in HR zone 3, 1 x 10 mins in
HR zone 4 and finally 4 x 2 mins in HR zone 5. Each interval may have
either a time based or HR based recovery.
PLEASE NOTE. The new Polar RS800 and Polar RS800SD also has the ability to support beat to beat heart rate analysis and R-R intervals (as does the S810i). However, it can also be paired with the Polar S3 stride POD to give accurate running SPEED, PACE, LEG CADENCE (strides per minute) and STRIDE LENGTH. Please consider these new units before purchasing the older Polar S810i unit as seen here. The Polar RS800 and Polar RS800Sd also includes an altimeter and new DIGITALLY coded Wearlink W I N D chest belt.
The
watch can store 10 of these exercise sets within it's own memory,
and the user can store unlimited files within the software.
You
may store an unlimited number of these "sessions" or "exercise
sets" in your PC software and file them against specific users.
You may store 8 in the watch at any given time, allowing you to choose
the "exercise set" that suits your requirements.

The
S810i allows for real time Heart Rate Recording on your PC. The S810i
can display a realtime heart rate graph on a standard PC using the
IR port and Polar softwatre supplied
IMPORTANT:
This is the NEWER S810i (with V4 internal software),
not old stock S810 (older IR communication software and V3 Polar software)
This
means it has the latest built in IR software and should communicate
with all Windows Operating System with built in IR devices (i.e
laptops with in built IR ports should not need the Polar standalone
IR port)
**IMPORTANT
- NEW Polar USB IR port COMPATIBLE with all Win Operating Systems
including Win XP !! -: Please note, we only sell the very
latest Polar USB IR ports and Polar S810i HRM's. There
are many sites still selling the older stock that does NOT
work well with WIn XP. Our Polar sourced Ir Wave USB ports
will work with Win XP systems, they say so on the package and we've
tested them. If price matching, please make 100% certain that it is
the very latest Win XP compatible USB IR port.
The
current stock of Polar S810i come with Polar Precision Performance
software verion 4.0 with enhanced IR communication software for Win
XP on laptops with built in IR ports (IRDA devices). Also works on
Win 95, 98, 2000, ME etc.
