BHIP Ltd comment - Polar are obsoleting the older, but still popular, F6 / F6F and the F11 / F11F. The new FT series is a direct replacement to this older series.... In our opinion the best new feature is the ability to add either the FOOT POD or the GPS sensor to provide SPEED and DISTANCE information. The GPS sensor can be used to provide speed and distance feedback for ANY outdoor activity - horse riding, sailing, mountain biking or just walking. The S1 FOOT POD sensor is ideal for the runner looking for an accurate measure of running speed, pace and distance.

The necessary Polar interface software to run these features is
free to download from polarpersonaltrainer.com. The user can set training goals (10k. 1/2 marathon, Marathon etc) and monitor training progress between the watch and the diary. If you get stuck, you can call
us. This feature does not download to your own local PC, but to the
online training diary.. To use this feature you NEED the Polar Flow Link device, available as an accessory below.
