Next model UP ?? It has to be the new : Polar FT60 which comes with the Polar "STAR TRAINING " programme to help set, monitor and analyse your training goals. The FT60 also has the ability to communicate with the Polar G1 GPS for all sport speed and distance, or the Polar S1 foot pod for running speed and distance.

Next model DOWN ?? is the Polar FT7 - similar functions but no FITNESS TEST.

However, if you are mainly a runner / jogger you may well benefit from the new Polar RS200 running computer / heart rate monitor. IMPORTANT NOTE: The new FT40 has a Polar WebSynch feature. The necessary Polar interface software to run these features is free to download from polarpersonaltrainer.com. The user can set training goals (10k. 1/2 marathon, Marathon etc) and monitor training progress between the watch and the diary. If you get stuck, you can call us. This feature does not download to your own local PC, but to the online training diary.. To use this feature you NEED the Polar Flow Link device - an optional extra available below
