Differences
between this heart rate monitor and the next model down (Oregon
Scientific SE211):
This
unit has 3 x heart rate training zones (the SE211 has only 1). It
also has a 99 lap memory for split timing (the SE211 has a single
event stopwatch only, no laps/ splits). Also, the SMART trainer programme
can provide 3 x countdown timers, warm up, exercise and cooldown,
(the SE211 does NOT do cooldown, just warm up and exercise i.e 2 x
coundown timers)

Heart Rate Monitor with a good stopwatch and a new, innovative, vibrating
heart zone alarm feature. The stopwatch enbales the user to break
down their exercise in to "segments" or "laps" to better understand
time and value of each section. This is also useful for runners who
want to know effort and time per mile or per kilometre, after a race.
This unit has a 44 lap memory that can be recalled for analylsis.
These
units are HR compatible with most popular makes of CV gym equipment.
The Oregon Scientific SE232 (Vibra Trainer Fit Pro) heart rate monitor
allows the user to enter age, sex, weight, height and activity level.
The "SMART Trainer" programme will then provide sensible HR limits
for the user, with a 5 min warm up and 30 min exercise. The user can
change any of these parameters if they wish to use their own figures.
These units also give an indication of calories burnt, % of time spent
in selected zone and average heart rate. It will also provide average,
amximum and minimum heart rate per lap, % fat burn per lap, and time
spent in zone, below and above threshold zone per lap.
SPECIAL FEATURES
