It is aimed at the exerciser who possibly JOGS some days (easy jog / recovery session) RUNS on other days (harder than a gentle jog - proper training run) and maybe CYCLES or exercises in a gym on other days. The SH210 has 4 x exercise modes, JOG, RUN, CYCLE and AUTO (other).
The users sets up heart rate zones specific to each discipline, with personalised WARM UP and EXERCISE TIME for each session. When you want to train, just select JOG, RUN, CYCLE or AUTO and it will direct you through the correct warm up in the optimised training zone. It took a while to get used to the button presses.. but after 30 mins playing we really loved this HRM for the moderate to active multi sport user.

Warm up = 10 mins - light
Exercise = 45 mins between 120 bpm and 140 bpm
Cool Down = 5 mins
