OK... why is it so cheap.....?
The Navman range has struggled to compete with the Garmin Forerunner range. The main reason for this is that the Navman range does NOT download to a PC. If you want an easy to use, non-pc downloading GPS device to measure outdoor speed and distances, then the Navman X300 is a great choice GPS.
For windsurfers, sailors etc, this is a great device (speed output in KMH/MPH only, no knots), it will tell you how far and how fast, max speed. It is IDEALLY suited for skiers and snow boarders, that who it was originally aimed at.
This is what we said when it came out 18 months ago... at £150!! : Heart Rate Monitor
.co.uk are pleased to stock the Navman X300 GPS speed and distance
monitor. This is the flagship / top of the range unit in the Navman
300 series GPS speed and distance monitors. The Navman X300 will provide
accurate and instant speed and altitude information (using GPS) while
you enjoy your skiing, running, sailing, climbing etc

distance and altitude data while participating in any outdoor activity.

in mph or kmh).
