Refund Policy - Unwanted Goods - "cooling off period"

If the goods that you purchase are unwanted or not what you expected then you may return them to us, unused and boxed, and we will make a refund to your credit card. You have 14 days from date of despatch in which to request a refund. The value of the refund is the transaction price, minus a flat rate £3.50 to cover postage, handling, administration and credit card charges.

Christmas exceptions: At Christmas we realise a lot of orders may be for gifts. We will accept back unwanted returns, in "as new" and unused condition, for a period of 14 working days from when we re-open after Christmas. The unit must still be in all original packaging. The value of the refund is the transaction price, minus a flat rate £3.50 to cover postage, handling, administration and credit card charges.

Please note, we cannot accept back any product once it is used, unless it is faulty. If this is the case, we will repair it under warranty. Please see guidelines below under "Warranty - Defective units" for more details.

Please note, with regard to refunds, we can only refund back to the total value of the purchase. We cannot refund an amount in excess of the original purchase price. We do not refund the cost of postage for returning unwanted/faulty/suspect faulty items.

Responsibility of Postal Charges

Postal charges back to BHIP Ltd are always the responsibility of the customer. Returns should be sent at least "Royal Mail, Recorded Delivery" (this ensures safe receipt) or similar. We cannot accept responsibility or liability for any item lost during return. It is the customer's responsibility to make a claim with the postal agent with regard to loss of an item being returned to BHIP Ltd.

LOST ITEMS

Items under £120 sent Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery: Very rarely, Royal Mail may loose an item in the postal system. When this happens, Royal Mail will not consider the item lost until 15 days have expired from the date of posting. We believe that this is an unacceptable time to have to wait. BHIP ltd will send a replacement item when only 6working days have elapsed from date of posting. It is often the case that the original item will still arrive within the 15 day period. When this happens, please let us know and we will send a pre-paid returns envelope/package.

Items over £120 and other items sent Royal Mail SPECIAL DELIVERY: If a Special Delivery item does not arrive within 1 working days from the date of despatch we will send a replacement immediately. It is often the case that the original item will still arrive within a couple of days. When this happens, please let us know and we will send a pre-paid returns envelope/package.

Warranty - Defective Units - Faulty units etc.

If the unit is "dead on arrival" please conact us, this is an exception to the above.

We can only uphold a warranty to the customer who originally bought the item, or to a customer who can produce the original e-receipt / WorldPay transaction ID. We can only send warranty replacements / returns to addresses in the UK.

We cannot accept items returned to us from overseas, nor can we accept duty charges, or similar, levied upon as as the result of a returned item. In such cases, we will refuse to sign for the returned item and request it is returned to sender.

All products come with a one year manufacturers warranty (unless stated in the product guides)

A "fault" does not qualify an item as "not of merchantable quality", it means it has developed a fault. Unfortunately, items do go faulty, when they do we are entitled to the opportunity to have it repaired by the manufacturer, under warranty. A faulty unit is not a junction to negotiate a different model / brand or request a refund. A faulty unit will be repaired / replaced under warranty according to advice from the manufacturer.

Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims

Defective items from the following brands are returned to the supplier, Nike, CardioSport, CicloSport, Polar and Reebok (customers are within their rights to send the unit directly back to us, we in return have to send it to the manufacturer, as per our dealer agreement, for them to repair/replace and send back to us. This process does incur extra time delays.) Please see warranty page for details. Other manufacturers, Oregon Scientific, Timex, Sigma, Navman BHIP and MIO are handled directly by us. If it is an "out of box" failure, i.e faulty upon receipt, we will send you a direct replacement upon receipt of faulty unit. We can provide an SAE for the return of the faulty item (or refund postage) .

Warranty does not cover battery life (except sealed Polar units)

Customer should return the warranty card that comes with each HRM to the manufacturer
Shopping with us does not affect your statutory rights

Warranty does not cover water damage if buttons operated underwater
