Is the GARMIN FORERUNNER 50 MAC compatible.... ??
Garmin Forerunner 50 uses two pieces of software
1) is the Garmin ANT AGENT - this is the software that communicates between the Garmin Forerunner 50 and the USB PC stick. Basically, it takes the data out from the watch unit. This software is MAC compliant for Intel powered MAC's (not, currently, PowerPC MACs) Hopefully - this link will take you to the latest Garmin update page - click here
2) Is the software that displays the data extracted from the Forerunner 50 by the ANT Agent mentioned above. Most people use Garmin Training Centre. This software is FULLY MAC compliant - Intel based and PowerPC.... so, in summary, if you have Intel powered MAC, you should be fine, if you have PowerPC MAC, you may have some problems....
www.heartratemonitor.co.uk always recommend downloading LATEST software versions from garmin.com
