After downloading
your data from the Garmin Forerunner 301 and Edge 305 you will
see on the main Garmin Training Centre page, the graph below
the map charts your pace, speed, heart rate or elevation data
based on time or distance. With one mouse click, you can change
the data shown on each axis or zoom in and out on the graph.
Move the cursor along the graph to see exactly what speed you
were traveling or how fast your heart was beating at that point
in time. These features let you pinpoint specific areas and
see how elevation and other factors affect your performance.

comment. The Garmin ForeRunner 301 and Edge 305 comes with built
in mapping software that gives you a biscuit trail of where
you ran. If you have another Garmin MAPPING product on your
PC, like a Garmin Quest, using city select V6.0 Europe map,
the Training Centre software will use this data to show you
the actual street names and places where you've been.
The Garmin software
also allows the user to view the hard data for your workouts,
which will help you analyze each lap. Simply click on the totals
tab instead of the map tab. A "notes" section allows
you to add comments about that particular workout or lap.

Flora HALF Marathon in Silverstone. Using the Virtual Partner it paced
Tristan (BHIP Director) to within 20 seconds of his desired time...
20 seconds faster that is :-)

comment.... WOW... there is NOTHING you cannot do with the interval
sets on the Garmin ForeRunner 301 and Garmin Edge 305... you
can do anything, any combination, time based, distance based
or HR based... very flexible. Of all the current SDM + HRM units
available, it has the most flexible interval programming options.
