We (BHIP Ltd team) used the Garmin Forerunner 201/301 for the London Flora HALF Marathon in Silverstone. Using the Virtual Partner it paced Tristan (BHIP Director) to within 20 seconds of his desired time... 20 seconds faster that is :-)

Good features, as with most of speed and distance watches, are, pace alarm, current speed, current pace and run time. What is pretty unique is the Garmin Forerunner 201's ability to show you real time if you are ahead or behind pace!! VERY USEFUL.

Technology is moving fast and Garmin are at the cutting edge. This unit is easy to use, highly accurate and even internally upgradable via PC downloads, if required. We give it a very good 9/10
