The Garmin FR60 (Forerunner 60) Take the Garmin Forerunner 50 and make it better. The main difference is the addition of the VIRTUAL PARTNER feature. Simple to use, just tell the unit how far you wish to run, and how long you want it to take.. and it will become your VIRTUAL PARTNER and pace you around the course. The Garmin FR60 is an ideal heart rate monitor for ANY level of exerciser from amateur jogger / cyclist to very serious triathlete. What the Garmin FR60 will give you is heart rate, running speed / distance and pace (with optional foot pod) and bike speed, distance and pedal cadence (with opional GSC10 bike speed/cadence sensor). With the Garmin FR60 you also have the ability to download the training sessions to the PC using the Garmin Training Centre software and USB PC data stick (all included free of charge) - NEWS FLASH - you MUST check this size of this new Garmin FOOT POD !!
The Garmin Edge 500 Cyclists GPS - GPS-enabled super cycle computer displays power data from ANT +™ enabled third-party power meters, barometric altitude and vertical profile. Also tracks speed, distance, calories burned, average and max speeds ~ plus ability to download GPS tracks to various free to use sports tracking sites.
The Garmin Forerunner 310XT - Garmin International is pleased to announce the Garmin Forerunner 310XT multisport GPS training device. This is the PERFECT watch for the mulitsport user / triathlete that needs a unit they can wear when swimming. It is Garmin’s first swim-proof
training device that is water resistant to 50 meters. The Garmin Forerunner 310XT features a long battery life for up to 20 hours of intense training plus a
high-sensitivity GPS receiver with HotFix to give it faster satellite reception than the Forerunner 305 units
The Garmin Forerunner 405CX is the newest version of the Garmin Forerunner 405. It offers everything the Garmin Forerunner 405 offered, plus a more accurate CALORIE computation, based on exercising heart rate.
The Garmin Forerunner 305 will do everything that the Garmin Forerunner 50 will do, plus the ability to download a TRACK of where you exercised (based on the GPS co-ordinates stored while exercising). Unlike the Foreruner 50, which uses FOOT POD (accelerometer) and BIKE POD (wheel revolutions) to calculate speed, distance and pace, the Garmin Forerunner 305 uses GPS. You may, if you wish, add the FOOT POD, or the GSC10 BIKE SPEED/CADENCE sensor to provide INDOOR running speed (on a treadmill) or bike speed / pedal cadence while (on a turbo trainer). The Garmin 305 also has a far more flexible method of presetting interval sessions (pretty well unlimited transitions), plus the ability to RACE YOURSELF using the VIRTUAL PARTNER option (you tell it you want to run 10K in 42 mins.. it paces you around)
The Garmin Forerunner 405 is the newer version of the Garmin Forerunner 305, main difference being the case design and the method of PC connection. Garmin Forerunner 405 uses the USB data stick, Garmin Forerunner 305 uses a wired USB connected cable |

A welcome addition to the Garmin Product range. Put simply, if you're a TRIATHLETE and you want Garmin - this is the one for you. This is the FIRST WATERPROOF Garmin Forerunner GPS unit, so you can wear it while swimming (but like all HRM's - no heart rate while under water). The other Forerunner GPS units are just SPLASH proof, but this one is fine for the SWIM section. Also, it has an operating battery life of 20 hours, double the normal Forerunner (great for IronMan and Ultra distance races)

The much awaited Garmin Forerunner 405cx is now available. These are genuine UK models supplied by Garmin UK Ltd - NOT Grey imported products. Comparison
of Garmin Forerunner 201 / 301 and Garmin Forerunner 205 /
305 : The biggest
two differences are aesthetics and improved aerial technology.
The aesthetics are just different, not necessarily any better.
The new 305 does not fit the wrist any better than the 301,
in fact, on a smaller wrist the 305 is a bit too chunky across
the wrist. The aerial technology improvement in the 305 is
an improvement, however, if most of your running is fairly
rural, with good clear vision of the sky, then the Forerunner
301 is still a great option.. and considerably cheaper. The
PC software is the same. If most of your running is in town
or wooded areas, then we would suggest the Forerunner 305.

Specifically
designed for use by cyclists. The new Garmin Edge 205 and Garmin Edge 305 are a smart,
easy to use unit combining heart rate monitor (305) / cyclo computer
/ gps mapping unit. The new training software helps to plan
and continually monitor your training and progress. Click
here for the results of our Garmin
Forerunner test , although this test uses the
Forerunner 205, it is same aerial as in the new Edge 305 / 205 that

It is possible to use the Garmin Forerunner products while horse riding. For
monitoring heart rate and speed - distance data we would recommend either
the Garmin Forerunner 301 (in areas where there is clear sky, no tree cover
etc) or the Garmin Forerunner 305 for exceptional reception, even under
light tree cover. We recommend equinefitness.co.uk as the specialist
supplier of this product with bespoke GIRTH STRAP. Please visit them directly at www.equinefitness.co.uk - thank you. |

site
owners comments about the Garmin Forerunners : They may be
quite large, but once on your wrist you hardly notice it.
What's great about these unit is their ease of use, value
for money and high level functionality..
Good
features, as with most of speed and distance watches, are,
pace alarm, current speed, current pace and run time. What
is pretty unique is the Garmin Forerunner's ability to show
you real time if you are ahead or behind pace using the VIRTUAL
PARTNER function !! VERY USEFUL.
Technology
is moving fast and Garmin are at the cutting edge. These units
are easy to use and highly accurate. We "highly recommend"
these units and we have personal experience using them.
